Salt Lake Community College was a dream.
For the first time ever in my life, I had hands-on film experience. Not a theoretical education like I got from the University of Utah. I took hands-on classes there, but they did not have the equipment to 100% demonstrate the power of filmmaking. I was impressed with the equipment SLCC had to teach how hands-on I could be with my vision. I've never been on a stage like this in my life:
I took photography classes. All the way from black and white film - studio lighting.
I even took advanced Spanish! I had the cutest friends and the cutest little teacher.
I'd ask my Spanish class friends to model for my photo class projects. They were always down, and they were my favorite models to photograph.
We took this photo in the Ballpark neighborhood of Salt Lake.
For the first time in my life, I felt aligned with my dreams.
It was amazing... Until I met him.
