Forest Lawn Memorial Park is one of my favorite treasures in LA. It's one of the few places this much open land exists with trees this old and architecture that makes one wonder.
It's a memorial park where death is celebrated as much as life through art and beautiful views. The Creator, Dr. Hubert Eaton, had a vision to make death less morose by surrounding it with renaissance art. Here, you'll find an exact replica of the Statue of David, La Pieta, and the largest framed painting in the world: Jan Styka's "The Cruxifixction".
A part from the art, many celebrities have made Forest Lawn their final resting home. Some include Walk Disney, Humphrey Bogart, Elizabeth Taylor and the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson.
Every year on June 25, 2009, Forest Lawn Glendale's Holly Terrace blooms with flower arrangements from all over the world for Michael Jackson. "From Russia, with love!" "Japan loves you Michael!" &"Hearts from Iran!" Through it all, the love for Michael Jackson is real y'all. Michael Jackson left a legacy that resonates with the star in all our hearts.

His final resting place and home is at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California at the Holly Terrace Mausoleum. It's high security and only those with a code can get in.

Getting to Forest Lawn is an experience in itself. The park welcomes you with palm trees and panoramic views. As you drive through, you will travel winding roads and see immaculately manicured landscapes that encourage you to slow down and take in the beauty.
When you see the castle, you've arrived at Michael Jackson's grave. You'll know the entrance by all the flowers, letters, and personal items placed at the altar of his terrace. These tokens reflect the ongoing love and admiration MJ fans share, creating an intimate space for connection.
